The Road To Glory team includes many award-winning coaches who are dedicated to encouraging you to achieve the goals you set over the programme.

What is the programme?

Road To Glory is a 10 week fitness experience with dedicated coaches training contenders in boxing techniques. On successful completion contenders participate in a fight night at the M.E.C.A. Swindon. Specifically designed for beginners, novices and female contenders, everyone is matched against equal level contenders.

Road To Glory contenders set similar goals; to improve their fitness, raise money for a chosen charity and a final fight night surrounded by friends and family.

The Road To Glory team pride themselves on offering the most innovative and rewarding white-collar boxing experience in the South West of England. Contenders take part in a life changing journey; in previous seasons we have had people lose three stone, raise thousands for charity or simply just improve their health and the way they live their lives.

When did white-collar boxing begin?

White-collar boxing began in the late 80’s in New York, when Bruce Silverglade owner of Gleason’s gym encouraged his office-based members to participate in informal fights. It was very popular and the sport continued to grow becoming notable by the mid-90’s.
